Meanwhile, we have done some work on the sites. We still have great ideas that we need to make happen, that will take us a while. But, we have managed to put up a Job Board! Now you can post your resumes when you’re looking for a job and companies can post their jobs for a very small fee (just so we can keep the board running). Ofcourse, posting your resume is free. Also, we launched the TruckingSpace Load Board earlier. It’s completely free for everyone, so go out there and post your loads and trucks!

 TruckingSpace – The online community where truckers can speak their mind.

James and I have been working on a Load Board for TruckingSpace and we finally launched it! It’s version one and we will be working on it to improve the page, but it’s online and you can all start using it Most important though, it’s FREE! We feel there’s enough Load Boards and other sites out on the internet that want money from members. We create sites for our and your entertainment and we do not want our members to pay for services that should be free.

We are working on two major new features for TruckingSpace. I can’t tell you yet what it is and I can’t say when it’s done.. But it’s will be a major step forward and it will surely enhance the site.
Also, we are updating the whole site soon. I can’t give you a timeline on that either yet, but it will be soon!

I’m Karlijn. James and I are the owners of TruckingSpace, an online community. We’re also a couple. I will be blogging here about our work on TruckingSpace and about it’s progress.

TruckingSpace  is a fairly new community website, made for (obviously) truckers. James is a trucker himself and we were missing a trucking community online where you don’t get restricted in what you have to see or want to show. The few communities and forums that we came across were all heavily moderated and had strict rules. Now knowing truckers, you also need a place where you can vent, speak your mind or show stuff you come across on the road that might not be suitable for (i.e.) minors. So we created TruckingSpace, where there’s no holdbars and only two rules which are legally bounded. There’s no moderation of posts, no warnings, banning or restrictions. We just want truckers to feel at home on our community.

It’s also a good place to network within the trucking community as you will come across many different people. From truckers to truck-stop cooks, everyone is welcome. There’s many features to keep up to date to the trucking industry or your network and as we go, we will keep improving and making the site grow. That’s what we will be using this blog for, to tell about our experiences in creating an awesome trucking community.
